Model 1226 is a retrofit weighing system that works as a integral part of
All Big Boyz Bed Models turning the entire bed into a precision scale system.
The 1226 Scale System employs the latest in microprocessor
and load cell technology to provide accurate and repeatable weight data.
Four (4) identically matched transducers are strategically placed to ensure
an accurate representation of the patient’s weight regardless of weight
distribution.
The Patient’s weight is displayed on a 16 character dot matrix liquid
crystal display with L.E.D. backlighting. Patient weight may be viewed in
both POUNDS and KILOGRAMS with the push of a button with a display resolution
of 0.1 #/Kg (100 grams). The 1226 also features a WEIGHT CHANGE mode which
makes it convenient to monitor the patient’s weight relative to ZERO
in order to observe variations in weight. A FREEZE feature is provided to
give the added convenience of being able to adjust the patient’s comfort
by adding a pillow, book or adjusting the bed without effecting the
patient’s displayed weight.

Our heavy-duty ½ rails provide the stability needed to help facilitate turning and repositioning. The Big Boyz bed rail has been fabricated to insure the security needed to assist the bariatric patient when transferring in or out of bed.
We offer (2) two types of Side Rails:

The
Big Boyz Battery Back-up is optional for all bed models. This item provides
many functions. The optional Battery Back-up permits the bed to be repositioned
during patient transfers. This is very important especially if patient codes
during transit, bed can be placed in a flat position and CPR can be performed.

4 ½” XL45 DENSITY FOR TOP AND BOTTOM OF MATTRESS WITH A 1” XL35 DENSITY FOR CENTER CORE. THESE MULTI-LAYERS PROVIDE A 6” THICK MATTRESS.

Trapeze is Durable Medical Equipment designed to provide the patient with
assistance in changing body positions in addition to entering and exiting
bed. The Big Boyz Trapeze has a fracture frame set-up, four (4) posted and
bed mounted. This item provides the stability and security needed for the
Bariatric population with a 1,000 lb. Patient Weight Capacity.
